Six personalities participated in the new program entitled “Welcome to the monastery” which will be broadcast on C8 at the beginning of January. Among them the former porn actress Clara Morgane, the choreographer Jean-Marc Généreux and the columnist of “Touche pas à mon poste!” (TPMP), Delphine Wespiser.

Reality TV and spiritual retreat, is it possible? In any case, this is what the new C8 program “Welcome to the monastery” offers, which will be broadcast at the beginning of January. Six personalities spent a week at the Saint-Dominique de Corbara convent in Corsica, where there are brothers of Saint John. The actress Fabienne Carat (seen in “Plus belle la vie”), Simon Castaldi (son of Benjamin and candidate in several reality TV shows), Jean-Marc Généreux (former juror of the show “Dancing with the Stars”), Paul El Kharrat (former candidate for 12 coups de midi who became columnist and writer),  Delphine Wespiser  (Miss France 2012 and columnist in the show “Touche pas à mon poste!”) and Clara Morgane, former porn actress now at the head of a cabaret have chosen to live the experience of a retreat.

Accompanied by Brother Baudouin and Sister Catherine (who also accompanied Gad Elmaleh on his journey of faith, editor’s note), they do not necessarily know what to expect… with the exception of the silence, the absence of contact with the outside and removing their phone and the Internet. Discovery of a universe unknown to many, of a life punctuated by prayer and a solitude to which they are no longer accustomed, retreatants have here a unique opportunity to (re)discover themselves and take the time to question the meaning of their life, their aspirations, etc.

Allowing these six personalities to discover things buried deep within themselves.

“This initiatory quest, completely new, will allow these six personalities to discover things buried deep within themselves, or of which they absolutely did not suspect the existence, some will doubt, change, be moved, we moving, but everyone will evolve and leave this monastery different,” explains the channel. “This unique experience, this initiatory quest, will leave no one indifferent.
