This ancient prayer to Saint Joseph is “known for never failing”

Pray with faith and ask for a spiritual benefit

Although Saint Joseph never said a single word in Scripture, his silent example of faithfulness, obedience, and care for the Holy Family during Jesus’ formative years made him one of Christianity’s most beloved saints.

It is estimated that devotion to Jesus’ adoptive father began between the 3rd and 4th centuries. But, according to the Pietá prayer book , there is a prayer to Saint Joseph dating back to the year 50:

«This prayer was found in the 50th year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505, it was sent by the Pope to Emperor Charles, when he was going to the battle [of Lepanto].Whoever reads this prayer, hears it or keeps it with him will never die of sudden death or drown, nor be affected by poison or fall into the hands of the enemy, nor will he be burned in any fire or defeated in battle. He prays this prayer for nine mornings for any intention.”She is known for never failing.”

Here is the prayer that “is known to have never failed, that offers the request for spiritual benefit to the one praying or to the person being prayed for”:

Prayer

Oh Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong and so immediate before the throne of God, I entrust all my intentions and desires to you.

Help me, Saint Joseph, with your powerful intercession, to obtain all the spiritual blessings through the intercession of your adopted Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, as I entrust myself, here on earth, to your heavenly power, I pay You my thanks and homage .

Oh Saint Joseph, I never tire of contemplating you with Jesus asleep in your arms.I dare not approach when He rests next to your heart. He hugs him in my name, he kisses his delicate face for me and ask him to return that kiss when I breathe my last breath.

Saint Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me!Amen.

Remember: God always answers our prayers. But we don’t always expect the answers we receive.
