A simple prayer to ward off evil and attract good

“May God the Father arise, let his enemies be dispersed”

hen you feel the oppression of evil in its different forms – lies, hatred, violence,… -, you can ask God to make it disappear with his powerful presence by praying like this:

May God the Father arise,
may his enemies be dispersed , and those who hate him
may flee from his presence .

May God the Son arise,
may his enemies be dispersed , and those who hate him
may flee from his presence .

May God the Holy Spirit arise,
may his enemies be dispersed , and those who hate him
may flee from his presence .

May the Blessed Virgin Mary arise,
all the angels and saints,
(Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Vincent Palotti),
may their enemies disperse
and
those who hate them flee from their presence.

Amen

This prayer to ward off the devil and attract good is in fact a simple exorcism that anyone can do when they consider it appropriate. Its author is the German priest José Kentenich and it is included in the prayer book Towards the Father .

Solemn exorcisms, on the other hand, must be performed by priests expressly authorized to do so by their bishop.

God (and his living love in people) is stronger than the devil. If you feel that evil is gripping you, call him and ask him to be present at your side. Call Mary and the saints. They want to be with you and help you.

His powerful presence, strengthened by your free invocation, will sooner or later defeat all evil.
